Linear Capping Machines

The linear capping machine is a type of machine that was created to be fast and versatile in format changes while maintaining high production speeds; in particular, the only format change to be made is that relating to the cap, since for the bottle it is sufficient to adjust the width of the driving belts.
In comparison with rotary machines, it is smaller in dimensions. It can be made in different versions for all types of caps. It is possible to apply more than one type of capping head and make them work alternately without having to disassemble them and set everything from the operator panel.

About 20-25 pieces per minute for pick & place cap gripping systems, 25-30 pieces per minute for pull-on gripping systems with screwing, 35-40 pieces per minute for pull-on gripping systems with pressure locking.

The caps or pumps are screwed by using a servomotor system, which allows you to easily adjust both the speed and the maximum tightening torque. It is possible, however, to also use pneumatic motors with mechanical clutch. The machine can be equipped with a head with a mandrel for cylindrical caps, a 4-wheel head for screwing pumps, a pressure head for locking snap caps. It is possible to provide the machine with a pick & place system for picking up and depositing the cap, with vertical motorization to simplify management and format change. The caps can be fed with a vibrator or unscrambler, and in the case there is also a system for orienting the cap before sampling to have it always open on the front of the bottle. The machines can be made in:

1. stainless steel (suitable for cosmetic products or non-aggressive products)
2. stainless steel certified for pharmaceutical or food products
3. plastic materials and non-ferrous metals (titanium, hastelloy, etc.) for acid or particularly aggressive products
